The rough part. Our dog died on Sunday morning. He was getting older, but it was kind of a surprise. My daughter is heartbroken. He was her first pet and we have had him since she was a baby. Her first experience with losing a pet too. I felt so bad for her! She's been asking for a dog for her birthday- later this month- we told her no. Now who knows. My husband doesn't want another dog, but he always caves when it comes to her. She has him wrapped around her little finger. So I wouldn't be entirely surprised to have another dog sometime soon...
I'm going to pack up the package for my Loopy Ewe swap partner and mail it today after school. I hope she likes everything!

So, so sorry to hear about your dog. I know how hard it is to have a pet die. Two years ago my cat of nearly 18 years died. It was heartbreaking. Be thankful of all the good times your family had with the puppy.
In other news, your cocoa package is going in the mail tomorrow! I am not sure if I'll have time to mail it at lunch. If not, I'll send it through the self-service deal after work. One way or another, it's on its way!
So sorry to hear about your dog. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet. I lost a cat several years ago. She was 16 when she passed. Just remind your daughter to remember all the good times she had with him. Sandy
